OUR CONDO IS IN SOUTH MAUI LOCATED ON THE SHORE IN MAALAEA, JUST STEPS FROM SUGAR BEACH AND 1/4 MILE FROM THE POPULAR MAALAEA HARBOR FOR WHALE WATCHING, SNORKELING, DINNER OR SUNSET CRUISES.  AT THE HARBOR ARE RESTAURANTS, SHOPS, HAND MADE HAWAIIAN GIFTS AND CLOTHING, A NEW STARBUCKS, THE PACIFIC WHALE FOUNDATION AND THE RENOUWNED MAUI OCEAN CENTER. WE ARE ONLY 15 MINUTES FROM THE KAHULUI AIRPORT, 13 MINUTES FROM KIHEI AND 25 MINUTES FROM WAILEA (FOR BEACHSIDE LAUAU'S). WE ARE 40 MINUTES FROM WEST MAUI AND LAHAINA (WHICH IS CLOSED).  PLEASE COME TO OUR SIDE OF THE ISLAND TO SUPPORT ALL THE BUSINESSES AND WORKERS WHO ARE STRUGGLING. WE WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE IT. I SEND MY GUESTS DETAILS ON THE AMAZING PLACES TO VISIT ON OUR SIDE OF MAUI INCLUDING THE BREATHTAKING ROAD TO HANA.

There’s a Costco at 540 Haleakala Hwy (808-877-5248) https://www.costco.com/warehouse-locations/maui-kahului-hi-119.html  From airport, take Mayor Elmer F. Cravalho Way, go right onto State Hwy 36 (Hana Hwy) then right onto Dairy Rd, and right into Costco.  Wal-Mart (808-871-7820), with limited groceries is at 101 Pakaula St. https://www.walmart.com/store/3290-kahului-hi?veh=seo_loc   From the airport, turn left off, Mayor Elmer F. Cravalho Way, onto Pakaula.  Past Wal-Mart off Pakaula, is Target (808-359-2829) https://www.target.com/sl/maui-kahului/2660  with limited groceries, at 100 Ho’okele. Safeway Market is at 1090 Ho'okele St. (808-359-2970) on the corner of Hana Hwy.

Kaahumanu Ave (808-872-3310).  From the airport, go right on Hana Hwy (Hwy 36), to the very end (curves left), onto E. Kaahumanua.  At the signal, turn left into parking lot. For a quick meal ¼ mile from the condo, take Hauoli and turn left onto Maalaea Rd, towards the harbor. On your right side is the Maalaea General Store and Café (808-242-8900) at 132 Maalaea Rd, with limited groceries. https://maalaeastore.com  They have highly rated, take out (or eat in) breakfast, lunch, vegan meals, cocktails, beer, plus food-to-go.  At the entrance to Maalaea is a gas station, a drive–thru Carl’s Junior https://locations.carlsjr.com/hi/wailuku/15-kapoli-street and a mini mart (some warm food & sandwiches) snacks, bottled water, beer.  A new Starbucks with a drive through is in the parking lot.
